At Brighter Futures Educational Therapy, we embrace the belief that every child is endowed with limitless potential waiting to be realized. Our educational therapy philosophy revolves around the core principle of inclusivity, recognizing and celebrating the diverse ages, levels, and abilities of each student we serve. We advocate for personalized, holistic approaches that honor individuality, fostering an environment where every child can flourish academically, socially, and intellectually. Through our commitment to innovation, research-backed instruction, and compassion, we empower children and families to navigate their unique learning journeys with confidence, resilience, and joy.

Interest Led

We incorporate a child’s interests so that they have more of a connection and motivation with what they are learning. Our goal is to make learning fun and personal for each student we serve.

Language Focused

We work hard to bridge any language or communication barriers a child may have. Our goal is to be as creative as necessary to both input information as well as allow for the output of information. We believe that once they are given instruction in a way that they can understand, a student can best show us what they know.

Structured, Systematic, and Explicit Instruction

We incorporate cognitive and educational research into all of our interventions. We believe in following science to guide our practices so that our students receive the best possible support to close the gaps they have.

Holistic

We do not only focus on a specific academic skill, but we look at the child as a whole and build up a variety of skills to help them be successful in all avenues of life. We believe that the ‘unseen’ skills are just as important as the ‘seen’ skills.

Who Do We Serve?

Students working on academic skills in the PK-middle school level.

Students with diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, IDD, and various learning disabilities.

Students who struggle with number sense, math problem-solving skills, phonics, language comprehension, cognitive skills, and developmental delays.

Students with receptive and expressive language delays or disorders.

What Makes Us Different?

We follow the Science of Teaching and Learning to make sure that we are up to date on the strongest practices to help kids learn new skills.

We are willing and able to work with students with severe language deficits, including students with AAC devices.

We have personal experience with neuro-diversity within our families, so we fully understand the struggles that families and students face.

We use programs and techniques that are backed by research to be effective at remediating learning difficulties.
